Making Money Online with Advertising and Affiliate Programs
Making money online with advertising and affiliate programs is not at all simple. It is just not easy making money online no matter what other people say on their blogs. I joined several advertising and affiliate programs for the past few years and for the past few months but I still have to see if I can really make money from them.
Making money online needs a lot of effort, discipline, patience and perseverance. It needs good planning and goal setting. It is not just enough to sit in front of your computer and write content for your blog. Content is king but no matter how many articles you have written, you will not get a lot of traffic if you are not promoting your blogs.
Even if you get a lot of traffic but if your visitors do not click on the ads, links or banners, then you will definitely not earn. But even if I have not earn from some of those advertising and affiliate programs, I did not regret joining them. I will give it a few more months and see if I have to continue having those ads, links, and banners on my blogs.

Google AdSense

DreamHost
DreamHost is a web hosting company and offers an Affiliate Program. You can earn money from DreamHost if you refer a customer. You can choose to receive substantial one-time credits for each of your referrals, or recurring credits for every payment that your referrals ever make to DreamHost! As of this writing, for one time payment, you will earn $97 for each new customer that you send to Dreamhost, and each new customer that they send to Dreamhost will have you earn additional $5 more. For recurring payment, you will earn 10% of every payment that your referrals ever make and you will earn 5% of every payment that their referrals make for as long as they remain customers!
Bluehost
Bluehost is another web hosting company which also offers an Affiliate Program. You can earn money from Bluehost if you refer a customer to sign-up with Bluehost. As of this writing, you will receive from Bluehost $65.00 per referral.
Lunarpages
Lunarpages is another web hosting which also offers Affiliate Program just like Bluehost and DreamHost. The Lunarpages Affiliate Program works as a referral service. As of this writing, Lunarpages will reward you with $65 if you make a referral to its hosting plans!
So far, those are the affiliate and advertising programs that I have joined and explored. I will be exploring more affiliate and advertising programs in the next few months. There are still a lot out there that I have not tested yet. I might even try writing sponsored posts just to see how it works. I have to find out if it is really worth it writing sponsored posts.
If you plan to become an affiliate, make a plan and set your goals. Have a lot of patience, discipline, patience and perseverance. It is not going to make you rich overnight but it will pay off later on if you work for it. Work smartly to achieve your goals.
